Three Concocted Scenarios by Maven Quibble



In our first concocted scenario, two men are in a fishing boat off the coast of New Zealand, an area filled with great white sharks. An eighteen foot great white is cruising near the boat. One of the men asks, "Dare me to go swimming?" The other offers him two dollars to do it. The first man jumps in and is immediately eaten.



In our second concocted scenario, a man is gambling in Atlantic City. He’s playing roulette. He places his life savings – seventeen thousand dollars – on 12. "C’mon twelve!" he says as the wheel spins.



In our third concocted scenario, a married couple is living on the twentieth floor of a metropolitan high-rise. The woman says, "You call this a paycheck? I don’t want to hear about baseball this weekend. You look fatter than yesterday. Take out the garbage. You forgot the milk. You’re a fraud and a loser and a creep." The man calmly opens one of his living room windows and jumps.
