The Necessary Ingredient

A Question from Victor Lembrey

We were celebrating something, I forget what, out at a restaurant with candles on the tables, and I made a joke and laughed, and the breath from my laugh blew out the candle, and I said, "Look, I just laughed out the candle," and everyone fell into hysterics. Me too. But it wasn't that funny. Which made me think everyone was phony. Including me. But so what?

Seriously - how can anyone get through the day without being phony?

A screw is any shaft with a corkscrew-shaped groove formed on its surface. Screws are used to fasten two objects together. A screwdriver is a tool for driving (turning) screws; screwdrivers have a tip that fits into the head of a screw. Around the first century, screw shaped tools became common, however, historians do not know who invented the first. Early screws were made from wood and were used in wine presses, olive oil presses, and for pressing clothes. Metal screws and nuts used to fasten two objects together first appeared in the fifteenth century.

Which raises an interesting question...

Is anonymous crazy, or just phony crazy?

I hate it when I laugh and milk comes out of my nose. It's even worse with a hot beverage.

But it's a great way to ruin desert for everyone else !
